Join us for a new summer tradition, our cast is made up of CSP alumni and parents. They have worked hard to bring to you the people of Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.

"CSP has built my kids confidence and creativity! They have learned the value of working hard as a team, and made wonderful friends. It really is a theater family."

Exploring creative depths |
A lasting journey |
Participants in any of our programs will have the opportunity to learn first hand about the many different aspects of theater. Through participation, they will learn from those that have more experience and teach those that have less experience. Actively, they will find their ever-changing place to grow and experience dramatic arts whether that is on the stage or behind the scenes.
|
Over and over we see our participants find their spark in the theater. Although we have had some that have made a life in theater, many rely on the skills they have learned through their experiences. This is where we learn to win and lose, laugh and cry, and learn the meaning of teamwork. Each lighting cue, stage piece, single line or single note contributes to the artwork that the world will see. Each rehearsal at Center Stage is a work of art in itself!
