David Middlin, Creative Director, Center Stage Productions

David is one of the founders of Center Stage Productions. He is responsible for the vision and creative direction of CSP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University.

David grew up in the world of music as his mother was a music teacher too. He has been in many productions in his younger years on stage and in the pit orchestra. His favorite role that he played was Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. He now loves being a music director, set builder, tech geek and audience member as well as being the creative director.

“Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.” ― Terrence Mann

Briana Bower – Director

Briana is a recent EMU grad who has moved up from being in Center Stage shows to choreographing and now directing them. She has a passion for being involved both on stage and off, and is slowly discovering how much she loves working with kids and young adults. I love to watch them grow as well as grow myself in the crazy awesome world of theatre. I look forward to Drama Camp every summer and the new experiences that come along with it!

She has danced with the Virginia School of the Arts, Milwaukee Ballet, and in a PBS film with the Peter Sparling Dance Company. Her passion is teaching and introducing young students to the magic of the performing arts. Currently, Kathleen is teaching 5th grade and directing/choreographing at the Marvin L. Winans Academy of Performing Arts in Detroit. This is her fourth summer with Center Stage as Choreographer!

Daisy Mull – Producer
Daisy Mull is delighted to Produce with Center Stage Productions.  She is not new to CSP – all of her children have attended summer camps and she and her husband were cast members of CSP’s Clue and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.  Daisy has also appeared onstage with Ann Arbor Civic Theatre and currently serves on the Board of Directors.  She has also Produced and Directed for Ann Arbor Civic Junior Theatre.  The most fun and favorite theater times she has had is when she has been able to be in shows with her children and husband.   She really does like being around teens and tweens and enjoys not only working with the theatre kids, but as a youth leader at her church in Ann Arbor.  Daisy works at weircrafts.com (a local webstore) as the shipping manager.  Daisy wears many hats, but her favorite is as wife to Rick and mom to Caroline, Kate, and Ryan.

Susan Hoover – Music Director
Susan has a Bachelor of Music Education from EMU. She has taught Elementary Music for the Ann Arbor Public Schools for over 20 years. She has a passion for teaching kids to love creating and performing music. The most recent performing she has done was “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” through Center Stage. She has three kids of her own that have all gone to Center Stage Drama Camps. She has a great time directing her own kids, but through the magic of theater the whole cast becomes her kids during camp!

Jeff Greunke, President
Jeff is currently the Director of Worship Arts at St. Luke – Ann Arbor and has been for the past 27 years. He is a musician at heart and plays piano, organ, and a bunch of other sundry instruments a bit. He decided to get involved in this whole crazy theatre thing since most of his family has been involved in many Center Stage productions over the past several years and figured he should also help out. He enjoys watching his kids get psyched about musical theatre!
