Danni Murphy is a Ypsi artist, event planner, and founder of the Wonderland Ball. "Meanwhile a Mad and Motley Crew..." is from her Wonderland series, and was featured in the first Wonderland Ball. In Danni's version of the Hatter and Tony Stark smirks as the brilliant and sassy Hatter, the March Hare takes on the dangerous and unpredictable mantle of Deadpool, and the Punisher Mouse is clearly the smallest and deadliest of the three.
Danni is a third-generation artist and a student of Art & Art History. Her love and knowledge of Art History mean she is capable of working in many styles and in many mediums. She is most prominently influenced by vintage poster art, comics, and pop culture. Her work is almost always figurative and comes from a desire to tell a story.
