The Real Housewives of Wonderland by Samantha Cover
What is it like to be a woman in 2022? We may love our lives, our homes, our families and our professions, but everyone desires an occasional escape from reality. Stuck at home, unable to really socialize, we have spent the last couple of years worrying about our health, our families (both immediate and extended), our health, our financial situations, maybe we deal with marital strife or struggle with infertility, maybe we had a falling out with a relative or friend. We sat there for over two years watching the news reports, from the first cases of covid to the rising death toll, shut-downs, masks, loneliness, limited travel opportunities. Some of us collected unemployment for the first time in our lives. Some of us lost loved ones. Some of us found ourselves.
What is Wonderland to you? Is is taking control and orchestrating something big? Is it letting go and living in the moment? Is it the ability to drop everything and have a tea party or a drink with friends? Is it dressing up…..or dressing down? Is it sitting back and laughing at the absurdity of the world we live in?
Wonderland is something different for everyone. Find your Wonderland and visit as often as you need to……you deserve it. After all, we are all mad here.
